What YouTube TV REALLY needs is the ability to record only NEW episodes of channels. If I had that the family would let me finally make the leap. Without that you just get a huge pile of ancient NCIS episodes on the TBS/AMC/etc. channels between the episode you recorded and the reruns, so finding your latest episode(s) is a nightmare.

I like being able to go to the channel guide directly to the channel you’re currently watching.
I would be nice if, when you go out of YouTube tv and go back, it wouldn’t go back to where you were in the program you were watching to where you left. We still have to manipulate around to get back to current time and where those programs were. I think there needs to be an option, at least, for that as well.

10G home internet is a big time marketing ploy. The fastest gateway available only offers 5 gig down and 2 up. Laptops, TVs, routers, etc., can’t use that much throughput. Also, Cat 6e is only spec’ed for 1 gig. If you use wired (as I do. More secure for one thing and much more stable) for as many devices as possible and have Cat 5 or 6e, you’d need to rewire your house with 6a or higher. 500 meg (half a gig) will easily support up to 30 devices accessing the internet simultaneously and also be able to do multiple-server hosting, constant cloud-based computing, and heavy online backups. No homeowner is going to come close to maxing out a half a gig of bandwidth let alone 10. Just my thoughts on the 10G mania out there. Love your videos by the way. I’ve learned so much over the years and constantly check to see what’s new and what tips and tricks I need to know. Keep up the good work!

The guide on YTTV always defaulted to the channel you were on in the guide. You have to hit the back button twice to get back to the top. This has always been the case for years

Cancelled Amazon Prime the second they decided to charge another $40 a year (roughly 30% increase) exactly the same content without ads that I had. Nope... goodbye.

I like YouTubeTV, because I have a DVR, where Spectrum cable TV didn't give it to me. I was paying $130 a month a few years ago. Plus, I had to call them once a year to keep the price low.

I am one who really could use a 10 Gb connection but, it has to be symmetrical. I have symmetrical 1Gb with CenturyLink now and some files still take a long time to send and receive from clients due to their very large file sizes (video and animation files that include shots that are rendered 3D animations with multiple render passes and those get into the thousands of frames per shot. Every little bit of increased up/download speeds makes a real difference.

I just bought the new Tablo and those 63 extra channels, including the Dove Channel I can record the streaming channels. I have checked. Frndly TV has the same Dove Channel, but I cannot record the Dove shows on Frndly. I get a message says, it is not allowed. Why Tablo can, and Frndly TV cannot, who knows? Probably some licensing. The licensing varies all over the board. You never know what is allowed and what isn't. I have several different platforms for that reason. I can back 3 days on TV shows on Frndly TV, where others I cannot. I love the Fast Free channels. Hopefully more I can record on.

I needed to be subscribed to AMC + view past shows and to add shows to library from episodes. I was able to add an episode from the guide, I’ll let you know if it records.

Is anyone seeing the resurgence of stuttering video during sports streams with YTTV? Seems like they fixed it a while but I have noticed it again recently

With regards to the Question of the Day: I'd love it if the wireless providers (or the owners of individual streaming platforms) would provide a cell phone software function so you could use the phone's alphabetic keyboard to effectively use the TV streaming apps' LOGIN and SEARCH functions. It should be pretty easy, just need the cell phone/5G/streaming app owners to coordinate this to get it done. It would also make streaming an easier to use option for entertainment viewing, thus drawing in more customers . Or am I missing something that's already available?

Just to let you know the price of base Fubo tv is going up 5 dollars a month for base and 1 dollar a month for regional sports. I got a special for three months so I know I will dump them after the three-month special.
