How do I rearrange the guide and channels in YouTube TV
You can rearrange the channels in the guide by using YouTube TV's mobile app or website. Go to the "sort" button on the live tab.
Change "default" to "custom."
Now you can customize them in the order you prefer.

Can I pause my membership, instead of canceling it?
Yes. Head to the Membership Settings page. But just a heads up, while your DVR'd content will not be erased, no new content will be recorded.

How do I only record new episodes?
As far as we know, this is not currently possible. However, new episodes are highlighted in the library where it says "New Episodes." You can usually watch them until the next episode airs, then they get the boot.

Twice YouTube TV paused while I was watching the news so I wondered how the limit of 3 devices works, who gets paused, or will the 4th device not be able to stream. My friend and I experimented. Result: The device that turns on the app first is the one that is paused if a 4th device starts streaming. If there's a 5th device, then the 2nd is paused.

With regard to simultaneous streaming. Is preference of streams given to the actual account holder. That is, does it just look for three streams, and does not care that the fourth one trying to connect is actually the one paying the bill.

I have been trying to save music, old TV shows, & recipes. Today, all of a sudden, my saved library items have a picture of a padlock or a globe beside every one of them. Am I locked out? What's the difference between the two symbols and how can I get back in? I am home bound & my TV is not hooked up to cable, antannae, or Wi-Fi. At my age, with covid 19 around, I'm not crazy about bringing a stranger in to my home to hook me up with any of those services, either. So my entire world revolves around the cell phone for calling, watching TV, and trying new recipes. YouTube is my favorite channel... even though I didn't know it had live TV. Just heard that on this episode of yours. Also I am curious as to why (@ almost 65 years old) I can't save the kids' songs that I grew up with. Even my kids are over 40 & don't want to have kids; not to mention that this is MY phone & no one gets to mess with it. As for songs like coming around the mountain, I know how the chicken got from the outdoors into the pot... I've helped put dozens from one place to the other. Jimmy cracked corn, playmates, etc are songs you won't let an old lady like me hear, even though I learned them in kindergarten. Please explain.

Without a guide you have no idea what is showing all night on that particular network. Also, how do you find the description of that evenings episode, kind of like a synopsis of what that particular hour is going to be about?
