Once again they shows how the entire crews of this show (and its fandom) don't ever read the book for even one second. Palantir became something soo powerful that can tempted/corrupted people to destruction? Not even a single crew of this show knows that Palantir was merely a communication tool like a mobile phone? It was taken by Sauron in thousands years later when he captured Minas Ithil (turned into Minas Morgul) then he use it to communicate and manipulate other users of Palantir such as Saruman and Denethor, it was never that the Palantir itself will corrupted or tempted people like the rings of power. But not even one in this show know this basic lore, and think they did something cool? what a joke
