There are many factors like lifestyle, injuries or even clothes, which can change how a person walks. A poor walking pattern may lead to foot, ankle, knee, hip, lower back problems and many more.
This video demonstrates one simple technique to fix walking technique.

I have an issue with swinging my shoulders when I walk. People are always telling me I walk like I'm trying to look BIG, MUSCULAR. I am a bit muscular, but even I notice I walk funny, and I would like to change it.

Actually it's embarrassing that I walk like a penguin without noticing, I always get made fun of by strangers which makes it even more embarrassing and awkward😔

I used to be an excellent walker, I could walk 12-15 miles easily, my pace was 4 miles per hour when I wantes to get from a to b & my short walks where all very fast, I even did 12 miles in 3 hours. I could also walk 22 miles though I didn't do that often. Then I became unwell & had a long time in bed, & I have never re-grained my ability to walk properly. I can do long walk fast as it hurts my joints, I can't sleep from the pain, I can plot slowly but I feel heavy, flat footed, woddling, my planter fasica hurts, behind my knees hurts, & my legs feel like lead, & I feel like I am swinging stiff legs forward, as opposed to springing along like I used to. What happened???
