I just added a list of the BARE MINIMUM affordable supplies in my description box called Amazon storefront. I've used this camera and tripod since 2018 (with one upgrade) til now to start my channel and earn seven figures. You don't need over $10k in equipment to make a living!! Make this small investment then level up later.

This is so eye-opening. I have only 60, 000 subscribers and earn $4, 000 to $10, 000 every month in ad revenue. I get about half a million views a month or more. I would have thought that's not enough to attract a brand. Thank you for being so transparent, Kelly.

When I started YouTube, you were one of my biggest inspirations!! 😌❤️

Great story, and I am happy to see you are satisfied. Being a YouTuber is very similar to running your own business. You should upload things people want to see, just like businessman should offer product/service that people need. And when the growth becomes real, you can consider hiring people to help you run your channel more efficiently. The most difficult part is starting and growing of course, but consistency and hard work (with a little bit of help from Fame- ster of course) will always pay off at the end.

Your success is NOT surprising to me. You definitely deserve it, you're such a dope person.

It’s very hard to start off making money “influencing” or content creating. Some people blow up overnight and some people it takes yearssss. Thanks for keeping it real bc a lot of influencers do gatekeeper info.

You’re a budding sensation. Periodddttt. People just don’t know about me yet 😌Thank you for the reminder, Ms Envelope. Also love how you brought attention to taking sponsorships that mean a lot to you or make you happy. That feels like a key to making this more sustainable for yourself above anything

I love reading the comments about everyone's journey and realizing that I'm not alone trying to create content full-time. Thanks Kelly for helping me realize that creating engagement and a following, is a key step in growing your channel. Still struggling translating my personality and sense of humor on camera. I for one did not anticipate that as being an issue, seeing as I'm so outgoing irl, but it's a struggle lol.

Anyone that thinks doing youtube is easy has never tried it. Omg getting the right angles, have to do retake after retake if you mess up🥴, posting stuff that people want to watch, planning ahead… its a real job
Thank you Kelly for continuing to be your authentic self and keepin it real 🤟🏾

Thank you Kelly! As a black content creator myself, I really appreciate your prior advice on getting starting, and I particularly enjoyed this video as well. I go back and forth victimhood to "I can do this" on must days - lmao. Really cannot articulate how much your videos on this topic helps out.

Started this video on my phone but had to pause and play it on my TV because I take my classes at Stampede University very seriously! I have my notes out sitting at my desk, thank you professor Kelly

it can get so frustrating trying to grow your YouTube channel and social pages but thank you so so much for being completely TRANSPARENT! Keep making this content girl, love you! 💖

Kelly, I love when you're being honest and tell it like it is. It's crazy to me that I've busted my ass my whole life to get a high paying "traditional" career, even though my real skillsets and passions were in music and performance. Even though I'm Gen Z I never understood social media and how to succeed on these platforms, and thought the only way I could ever have a stable financial situation was to sell my soul to some company. Thanks to you, and some other influencers, I'm learning there's a lot more to life than grinding for someone else.

I've never actually seen someone offer a number range for brand deals which is so important! I'm not at that level yet, but it's such valuable information for people to gauge if they're being paid fairly and also for those of us working towards being full time YouTubers to know what that looks like. Thank you!
