watching this video it came to my mind a phrase that someone told me or maybe I read it, I don´t remember jeje but it says that ¨being cringe is being free¨ at the begining I took it with a pinch of salt because I thought it was a joke but then I realized that It is completely true, no one cares if we do the things we like and we are ¨cringe¨ doing them, that isn´t a reason to stop being who we are as you said embarrassment isn't real.
