Well as a developer, I think brave is one of the best browser out there, no ads reference, no tracking, changeable dns services, built in tor and ip hiding functionality, good ram and processor management, I will continue to use it

Edit: it will drain your battery much quicker on a laptop compared to edge and safari

Yet Brave is far better than other Chromium based web browsers managed by Big Tech Companies... Being open source its more easy to identify if Brave is using any shady practice behind the scenes... While on Chrome or Edge you don't even know what is being collected...

Not privacy friendly? How did you come to this conclusion? It was just an affiliate link in which they were making some comission. And It didn't even apply to normal day-to-day users, just for those who were into crypto investing and trading. Youtubers do this affiliate thing all the time. Yeah, they could have been more transparent by saying that we are doing this and 95% of the users wouldn't have minded that. But there was no threat to privacy.

I use Edge in all my devices as primary and Brave only in Windows as a secondary to keep the University's Google account logged in.
So I just need it to fill Google Forms (i.e., online assignments. If they've stopped doing it, it's alright now).
Even Apple was caught slowing down iPhones. How many of you switched to Android?

I don't see why this could be a problem for the end user. Agar tumhare kuch khareedne se kisi aur ka fayda hota hai and if you aren't losing anything, might as well just help out without even knowing you're doing so. I don't see the reason behind the negative reception Brave has been receiving, never used the app, however, this seems like such a minute issue, and if it isn't even affecting your privacy or anything of that sort, why is it even an issue rn, I don't get it. Especially when it's an ad-free browser and if it earns money this way without harming anyone, rather every browser should follow the same path and remove ads and instead inject affiliate links and earn money this way. A great earning mindset to say the least.

I agree that it's wrong on their part but .Whatever they did in my personal opinion if someone is shopping for something online, I'd rather the amount they pay go into someone else's pocket too. Not just Amazon or flipkarts

Bro, jisko itna jyada hi darr h brave browser ko leke, they can simply build it from code by simply cloning theIr repository, editing the parts they want to edit...and go.
I personally think one should have both Firefox and brave...both are open source and brave being a chromium based browser, fills up great for the chrome.

I am using Brave Browser since it's launch and yes, not only this but I have experienced every problems Brave had yet. The only thing is, it didn't harm me in any way possible so I am still using it in both my phone and laptop. The day when it harms me, that'll be the day when I quit using Brave Browser
