*My overall recommendation* would be to choose both an "S Tier" browser for your general, non-personal internet browsing (reading the news, posts, anything you don't log in for basically), and an "A Tier" or possibly "B Tier" browser for less frequent, more personal browsing (like banking, social media, etc.).

This is because Mullvad/Tor Browser don't save cookies, browsing history, or other site data which makes them a bit inconvenient for sites you regularly log in to. Splitting your browsing habits across two browsers gives you the best of both worlds!

It says ultimate browser list but it seems that the only thing in consideration here is privacy and transparency and yes that’s super important, but having features and speed is also important and that was completely overlooked here. This video should be called “the ultimate private browser list”

And just to clarify I don’t know this channel I was just looking for videos about browser comparisons.

How can this be the "ultimate" one when you are listing based only on privacy and security?

Vivaldi def deserves at least C tier. I don't like Chromium based browsers (using hardened FF currently) but Vivaldi is just a joy to use. Any one who remembers the old Opera knows what I'm talking about.

I definitely don't see how Brave is worse than hardened firefox, past the crypto stuff (which you hide on setup) Brave blocks tracking and ads out of the box even on websites like Spotify, literally the best browser for Android and on web they have a tor integration.

This video is just a privacy tier list for browsers.
There are more to browsers than privacy.

pretty based overall although I do not agree with the librewolf rating. also I personally think 0days will always be available and I do not like the auto update logic you are so focused about

You forgot to rank from best-to-worst/left-to-right within each tier at the end 😉

vivaldi IS actualy open source but its kinda hard to find it ( /source after the normal vivaldi link) i do think it should get alteast a B tier because it has alot of customizability and very good features, very good browser for people like me who use break mode all the time to hide what we are seeing from people who pass by.

BTW any company that's involved in AI will try their best to get their hands on as much user data as possible, as that's what they train AI on.

It makes me so happy that you gave Google Chrome an F. I've always HATED this browser for so many reasons. I've never been able to figure out why people seemed to love it so much. My favourite browsers have been Firefox (although, that relationship pretty much ended a few years ago; still have it installed and use as a 'backup' now and again for certain things), currently using Brave but just this morning, I started thinking about checking out some other browsers as it's been a few years since I've done any research on what's available. That's how I just found this video. Very thorough and informative; thank you :) I've just downloaded Tor and will be trying it out for awhile to see how we 'get on'. I've known about Tor for quite some time but had just never taken the next steps of downloading and using. Thanks again for all the research you put into making this video.

So
As soon as you released the vide, Pale Moon 33.0.0 released.
Pale Moon now has Do Not Track requests, as well as canvas data poisoning, which prevents canvas fingerprinting.

Now for security, yeah sure it is weaker than most, but since it's more obscure, less people will attack it.

Addons are still an issue, because Pale Moon will never support WebExtensions, but since you can use old firefox extensions, it may still end up a bit useful

Performance is probably the best thing it has going for it, because it will run great even on low end computers, and it will also not eat up your RAM and CPU.
