I've been running for 20 years and you nailed it. Just forming the habit and grinding is the key to success.

100% agree!
I was a decent bodybuilder in my younger days and people would always ask me how to get bigger, put on more mass, get leaner, etc. I would tell them the exact same thing: Create a daily diet/workout routine and be CONSISTENT! Being consistent doesn't mean following the new routine during the weekdays and then falling off the train on the weekends, or every other week, etc. Consistent is following the routine every single day until you see the results you want! It may takes months or years. Once you start to see the results you want then you can enjoy a cheat day here and there, but above all things...be consistent!

People want motivation, but to be consistent, you have to learn discipline. And when you're consistent, you don't even realize it, it just happens habitually. The journey to becoming consistent is the toughest, but when you get there, that's when you thrive.

Your videos have had a profound effect on my running, thanks Elijah. Hopefully I can run the feats you’ve triumphed with the appearance of graceful ease.

I appreciate this video! Whenever I think I wanna skip a run because I feel like I don’t have the time, I tell myself even a short 10 min run goes a long way. Consistency and having it become a habit is key.

Thank you for this video, Elijah. I have been struggling lately with depression, which results to drinking alcohol and binge eating. I have started running for about a year now but have been inconsistent because of above reasons. This video made my day. Will try to get back on my shoes and be consistent.

It really just comes down to consistency. The rest happens after establishing that.

I have been running for past couple of years as a way to become more healthy and to get rid of some habits I have been wanting to quit. However, recently I have been getting injured and right now I am injured and I can't run (there is an injury in my left hip). I am in pain for every single day I am not running not because of the actual pain.
Any advice to keep one self sane and recover better and stronger?
I never imagined that I will love running so much that not being able to run will have such negative impact on every other aspect of my life.
You are such positive person, I wish if I could become like you
