When he said, "It's important to be wrong, " that spoke to me so much.

Johnny Chang has a unique gift in how he breaks down subject matter. Here he looks at the core, the root of the problem. But instead of blaming Satan for everything as if that will fix everything he explains how we are ALL battling Satan so that puts our abusers and ourselves on the same footing. We become brothers and sisters against a dark force. If we're united we're less likely to engage in conflict and healing and forgiveness are much more likely to occur. And what unites all this? Jesus our mediator. He reaches down to pull us all up. Go Johnny Go! I'm so glad he's getting more exposure. He gives a unique perspective to Christianity, one that is very much needed.

"It's important to be wrong."

That's just so hard when you know you're right and people wronged you. It takes so much to forget that and put yourself in the same place as the wrong one. Praying to get there because things still hurt whenever I'm reminded of it. It's just a continuous misery, looking back.

This was a really great way to put it... I've been struggling with forgiveness for trauma and guilt for not forgiving them like God forgives me.. Ill be thinking of this a lot. ❤ God is so good

The way he can answer any question on the spot & explain in a way that is truly understood, shows that God is speaking through him!

That’s a question I would love to ask him!

*Johnny, if by chance you see this, I would be so grateful for your help!*
I’ve been in situations where kids come to me, for advice on real problems. The first thing I do is ask God to help me with the words. But there are times when I’m not sure I’ve said the right thing, or, what The Lord wanted me to.
So I take the next step & pray with them about it.
I know God speaks to us in different ways & there are times when I know He’s talking too me. But what I’m also struggling with, is how to know, when He’s speaking to me within..
And how do I listen for him?

Short answer: If God forgives you for the trauma you've caused others then what right do you have not to forgive people who have caused you trauma.

If you believe you havent caused anyone trauma, think of the truama the Lord went through on the cross that was caused because of all of us and our transgression.

That is very well put. I would also add that when you hold on to resentment towards someone, you are only hurting yourself. The person you aren't forgiving and are resenting doesn't know that you are or care that you are, instead you are just making yourself angry which is in turn making you depressed. I was cheated on and I resented her for quite a while afterwards, she had obviously moved on and didn't care, yet here I was depressed and angry at her when all I could have done is forgive and move on from it. I have since done that and have gone from trying to take my own life to living my best life after coming to Jesus and forgiving. God is good! God bless you all. 🙏

He’s exactly right… not too long ago I was listening to revelation 17 and paused to take a moment to pray and forgive my older brother for molesting me for years starting when I was in 3rd grade and he was in high school. Plenty old enough to know better, but I believe his mind was just completely taken over by something ungodly.. and I prayed for it to leave him. I couldn’t have forgiven him before I was actively seeking God every day. Because I can’t fix him or myself, can’t make it right, but I can forgive and the Lord has been healing my heart ever since.
