The muscle-up is a movement that begins from the hang, passes through portions of a pull-up and a dip, then finishes in a supported position with arms extended.

I think non-kipping muscle up (the one with just a small momentum frontward to backward) is better for shoulders and arms injuries, anyone else can give his opinion on this point ?

Jag är ledsen viktor... Jag vill inte låta som en hater men det där var ingen muscle-up. Det där var en så kallad kipping muscle up eller crossfit muscle up. Det är en mycket mycket enklare version av muscle-up up. Det menas att du använder dig utav benen för att skapa momentum för att dra dig upp. För att det ska kallas muscle-up så måste benen vara så raka som möjligt annars gör du bara cheat variationer.

Goodbye rotator cuff muscles! A real muscle-up takes months and months to learn. Go slow, perfect form, use resistance bands to build strength. CrossFit is the quickest way to injury ( and I do mma!)
