Regular bicep curls have always hurt my wrist so I've been doing hammer curls all my life. No wonder my biceps suck... Thanks for keeping the video short

I do both.. I usually hit a high weight but low reps with regular curls & low weight, high reps with hammers.. the hammer curls do put more tension on my muscle..

for me, i used to do bicep curls since i started exercising, but when i started doing hammer curls many years later is when i saw my arms get bigger, and thicker. And i do full range of motion from the bottom up, I don't do the twist curl because i realise that when i went to do normal curls i could not curl it from the bottom, so normal curls alone full range, plus hammer curls alone full range and your arms will be jacked. of course you must must must must must do tricep exercises for the arms. That is a must.

For me, I've started doing some Zottman and Hammer curls for about 3 sets of 8-10 reps using a pair of DBs adjusted to 11.5kg and has been a load of fun to do.

Then I'll throw in some push-ups as a closer.
