The Black level of QD-OLED look like LCD in light room

As someone who generally buys for the long run, I’d rather take a small image quality hit for better longevity.

A 32inch OLED would be nice to have but alas none of these guys seem to have any.

I love all OLED including MicroOLED (VR) and QD-OLED too, but one strong case for WOLED is office use and mixed use scenarios. I use my prototype Corsair Xeneon Flex monitor for Visual Studio and Office without worrying about burn in. If you do mixed use (office + gaming), then WOLED is a safer bet at this juncture. Recent tests by RTINGS at the moment, are also, confirming this -- borning out that LG-scaler-controlled WOLED panels are doing an excellent job of resisting permanent burn in much longer. While color gamut differs, motion clarity is identical on both WOLED and QD-OLED, and a lot of our audience is more motionblur-sensitive than color-sensitive.

Now, OLEDs are usually fantastic quality improvements over non-FALD LCD in general, for most game genres -- but a lot of us need to also work on the same monitors. Multimonitor adds input lag problems (especially if content occurs on both), given Windows is a single-Hz compositor. So WOLED is safer better jack-of-all-trades (work/etc) from the burn-in point of view. So there's a bit of nuancing/caveating needed here; behind the amazing brilliant HDR colors of QD-OLED, too, when it comes to mixed-use scenarios.

I prefer QD OLED, any time I have booted up the monitor and played a game on it ( especially with good HDR ) I am blown away by how good it looks over my IPS I use for browsing/ none 21:9 games. That said LGs OLEDs are still top tier.

WOLED has DFR, which means you can set it to 4K 240Hz or 1080p 480Hz, which is never done for a panel before.

A 28-inch, 4k 240 hz Oled with hdr 1000... OR a 38 Inch, 4k ultrawide oled, with same specs. HOLY GOD

Quantum dot palnes are superior btw it's not a debate they just are way more reliable.

I have an LG C2 TV & I love it. I use that for my PS5. I have been looking for 2 monitors for my PC setup & I just can decide on what to get. I have been searching for a few months & its overwhelming to say the least.

Where in the hell is my 32 inch 4k 144hz oled monitor?

FALD monitors with high zone counts are underappreciated. No risk of burn-in, high brightness, no text clarity issues, and they have a contrast much closer to oleds than lcds.

Continued burn in issues are a deal breaker for me, while a good IPS panel absolutely does not look as good, it still looks very nice and will never realistically have to deal with burn in warranty claims.

The matte coating on the 27inch asus oled doesn't bother me at all. It looks great all the time.

Man, the only pixel technology we need is the micro led technology, because the pixels re illuminated by itself not need filters and back

Don't forget about QD-Oled having blacks turn grey when in light.

Lol and here i am, looking for a new monitor, and realising that any 1440p monitor with higher refresh rate than 60hz is too expensive.

It would be nice if they started mass producing nano LED...that will likely beat everything and be cheap to produce too.
