True story: When I was a baby, my grandparents used to sit me for my mom who was working a lot and going to school. Grandparents had three dogs and one was a blacklab mix named Lady. She thought of me as like a surrogate pup of hers. When my grandma used to lay me on my blankie on the carpet, Lady would come stand by me, look around, then curl herself around me protectively. When anyone entered the room, she softly growled and watched them. She was a great extra mom.
What a great dog, I'll always remember her fondly.

Dogs are an absolute gift from god ! I believe that everyday . My life is about my dogs as much as it is about my literal family. Dogs are the sweetest creatures on gods green earth .

i grew up with a german shepherd named cora. she was to me more like an older sister like an dog. she became 18 years old and probably would have become older if cancer not taken her. all my youth from my first steps of walking until the hardest time of my life, this dog was at my side. even in the hardest pain of her last weeks she was always the same wonderful soul. i will never forget that day when i came to walk with her and she sit in front of me, not moving but waiting and i knew...its the time we had to say our goodbyes. i kneeled in front of her putting my arms around her and she rest with her head on my shoulders for a long long time. after this my mother send me away to call the vet that put her out of her misery. my mother thought i was out of the house but i had to see cora doing her last breath, i couldnt look away and watched from the upper bedroom window of my parents. it broke my heart to lose her. ever since this moment i make a huge curve around whatever dog i cannot touch one. it would shred me to pieces on the inside. i miss her so much and im getting 40 next year. some holes...just never can be filled again.

Dear Dave your story of beautiful Hope who passed over last night brought tears to my eyes. He reminds me how animals come into our lives for a reason at exactly the time they are meant to be with us. It is their Soul contract that they have before they are born. I just lost my beautiful 18 year old cat ‘Lucky’ on Wednesday evening July 31st. She came into my life the year that my young husband died unexpectedly from a massive heart attack. She was my Heart cat and she was wise beyond words. I still have her blanket beside me on the couch where she was my constant companion now empty still has her smell a heartbreaking time. I understand your tears and feel your pain as a fellow animal lover too. I wish I could send a picture of, her here on the news feed the wisdom in her eyes you would understand that their souls are more evolved than ours because they are pure love. Thank you for sharing your heartfelt story and sending big hugs to the family of Hope and to you too. xxx

We should not only treat each other with kindness, respect & courtesy but ALWAYS be kind to dogs/cats regardless if we like them or not. Dogs are one of the most precious, amazing 😻 gifts 🎁 we get from GOD. Always an animal lover!! RIP Hope.

Hope’s story brought tears to my eyes. I have always sat d that the pets GOD sends us are truly Angels. My kids have always wanted puppies but from now on I will adopt older dogs and cherish them the way they should be. ❤️❤️❤️

Isn’t it a blessing to have a dog that becomes a part of you, but it is so heart breaking as they pass on to the place they go after they die. Lost my lab 6 months ago, still hurts.
