It is highly unusual for two hunters who did not know each other to vanish within miles of each other and for the event to end as it did.
Maureen disappeared with a long, long history of high strangeness.

Hey Dave God bless first off, I live in Cape Girardeau Missouri. We have two libraries here and I stopped by there and neither one would purchase your books. I’m a Finn and I remember Karoliinas’s case vividly. I was a teenager back then in 2011, and her disappearance was all over the Finnish media for weeks on end. Her going missing was a huge concern and it was so chaotic and weird. There was always something extremely bizarre and unsettling about her case in particular, but I couldn’t put my finger on what it was. Thank you David for bringing attention to these European/Scandinavian cases as well. I hope you cover more of cases outside of US in the future. Great work, as always. Bless you.
