Remember to always say thank you. My son was working at a grocery store in Culver city, CA. He is autistic. He was riding his bike home one night from work but his bike lights stopped working and he was wearing dark clothes. The Culver city police stopped him. While speaking with him they realized he might have a disability. Winded up having a great conversation about his job, life, coffee 😉. He came home smiling and happy about the nice police that he met. As a mom first I was relieved, second I felt so grateful to these police. I called the next morning and spoke with the watch commander. When I said I wanted to thank the police man and woman who stopped my son last night the tone of his voice said, what now? I started explaining and he was so amazed that someone was calling to say thank you he almost fell out of his chair. I could tell how rare this was and was so sorry that appreciation is not shown more often and so glad I made the effort to call.

Nash Quinn! I was shocked! I saw the picture of Nash Quinn and thought he looked familiar. When Dave started talking about him I knew. I took a zoom class with Nash in June 2023. He was a really great teacher, very smart guy and I enjoyed learning from him. I'm so sorry to hear about him. Thank you for talking about his case Dave.

dave just finished watching the video just came across my mind that before i started watching your video i was always kinda rude and never asked the people working at the stores how there day was going or if they are okay. but now 5 yrs later i now try to carry on a small convo with them and always ask how there day is going and tell them that i care how there days going i dont know if its you onyour videos constenly reminding me or where ive crossed over to the 30 year old mark lol but anyways just had that on my mind thought id share god bless you dave and family and country!

When our kids were younger 25 and below, they would call me and hubby and let us know where they were going. Then the whole group would get dropped off at our house where as we would pay for cab, Uber, lift. Ect... then me and hubby would drive them all home to the correct homes. That way we were guaranteed our kids and there friends made it home safely. Thank you for your 411 series because our kids learned how that it can happen to anyone, anywhere. So blessed to be a dedicated listener. Reader, watcher of all the 411's. God truly blesses you and your family. It has to be mentally, and emotionally, and financially draining. David, thank you for covering Nash's case, i shared with this you when it happend and i was hoping to see his case get some traction. Nash Quinn was the teachers assistant in a class i took several years ago. Nash is an enormously talented metalsmith, he is inventive, mechanically proficient in a number of areas, just a all around excellent craftsman. To make a few corrections, this was just a few months ago, not last year. He was not reported missing for two weeks (i think) for a couple reasons, he was between teaching assessments so not in regular contact with people. Nash is an introvert, hes smart, resourceful, creative and innovative. It may be difficult for some people to understand...but not all people talk to each other every day, every week or every month, i think he was single when he went missing, if he was seeing someone she would have known something was wrong. in todays society there is just so much interactive contact, its not necessary, and not everyone finds it helpful or productive to have constant updates on every last thing your doing. I hope he is found, i hate that hes not here, he has so much to offer to the world, and we are the worse for his absence.
