Dave, two young men disappeared south of Bismarck ND in the late 70s in Kimball bottoms also known as “the Desert”. It was very strange and fits your criteria. A skull was found 30+ years later.

I used to work in North Dakota oilfields in Williston, Tioga and south of Minot. The weather in winter was extremely cold working outside was brutal. The Rivers freeze up several inches deep, you can walk on top of the water and do ice fishing . It’s strange how anyone can go missing in an open land with not so many trees in the area.

Im a high school drop out with a GED, even I understand enough about quantum physics to understand that portals must exist. We just have to figure out how to open them up to save our missing. In some cases the people are heard long after they went missing theoretically to long to have survived without food and water. Take the case of the young man that went to the river to fill a can of water in winter he was heard calling for help by his mom in spring I say that to say I think things operate differently wherever those portals lead

What amazes me more than anything is the amount of people who don’t believe in ufo’s, Bigfoot and the supernatural in general. I guess literally millions of people are imagining this stuff

These stories remind me of one you told a while back where a little boy went out camping with his grandmother. He disappeared for a few days and was found alive. He said something about the time he was separated from his family to the effect that he was with his "other grandma" while he was gone.
He knew that this other "being" was trying to fool him into thinking it was his real grandmother.

Just got back from north of Fairbanks AK (picking berries we live in the Mat Su valley, AK ) just have to let you know, my hubs and I were out in the sticks, with a personal locator beacon, 357, and cans of bear spray. I grew up in an indigenous community in Canada with a large forest land base. I spent alot of time in the bush and playing in the creek behind my grandparents home. There were times us kids would get lost back there. It was like we were in a loop and when we thought we had found our way out of the woods, we’d end up right back in the deepest parts. We were lucky to have been back there in a group. ImI’ve heard others speak of other areas in the community where they’d go in and when they came out, they’d be miles and miles away from original entry point. Mind you this was when they were kids many years ago. It seems that these alleged portals were more accessible for children. Or could only be accessed by kids.
