as an ENFP with older brother I completely agree with that statement.. 3 years ago before pendamic started my brother was at college dorm and I would get all the food and freedom without sharing with comfort but cause of pendamic my dad brought him back home and it's never been the same... the taste of comfort without sharing is way too sweet.. it was only one year and that was the best year of my life..

As an infj, it’s true I like to be alone but it will be better if i get to spend time with a close friend, maybe after finishing a movie, we can discuss and get to know the other’s thoughts, spending time with someone is fun if I’m comfortable around them, however, just one or two day is fine, after that i really need to recharge myself with solitude

Do INFJs really enjoy being alone? Rather than the matter of preference, it's the matter of survival. Ni needs alone time like human needs oxygen, yet Fe thrives on human interaction (preferably face to face) So INFJs would rather be alone but being alone for far too long can be so lonely and tedious for us. That can be totally paradoxically painful for an INFJ as sometimes we wanted to reach out so badly but we had no choice but to keep to ourselves if the people in the immediate environment are mostly toxic. That's why so many INFJs hate their Fe and wish they were INTPs or something. All my life I've always envied those who can do the extreme, like total introversion or extroversion. It's something I wasn't wired to be.

Yes I do, the absence of ppl is enjoyable to a point that its almost addictive, ya see ppl simply existing in the same space gives off a feeling, a kinda pressure, but when alone that pressure isn't there

There's a fullness in the emptiness, its relaxing and peaceful, its almost like a meditation, in the peace I can talk to myself as loud as I like or even get into a disagreement with myself

I can be 100% me when alone so I prefer it, however even I eventually long for the simple joy that is another person's preference

Yeah but we do have to socialize too. I've also always been like raring to go out and party. Does that make me not an infj? I mean, whenever I go to a party, I do kind of get confused about why the hell im there. I think I just wanna feel *alive*
