Forgiveness is definitely not something I’m sure the families of the victims are ready to give yet.

“I’m extremely sorry that it happened to their loved ones” is a very obscure apology. “I am extremely sorry that Jeff did this to your family” is taking accountability as acknowledging the role Jeff played in their demise.
When someone says “I’m sorry you felt hurt by ….” Is very different to “I’m sorry I hurt you”

To all the psychoanalysts writing comments about Mr. Dahmer, he wrote a book where he stated that he might have passed the serial killer DNA to Jeffrey because he also had morbid thoughts when he was young.

I would be crying for forgiveness....you can't forgive what he did...you can love your son but if you where a normal minded person you couldn't ask for forgiveness....he didn't pay the same price he go a discount.. 😢

Ireally think this guy is the mastermind behind Jeff's killings, i feel like he created the monster and somehow raised Jeff this way maybe because he never had the courage to do what Jeffrey did.

Of course people are going to only focus on him not being a joyful person (illogically) and not give a damn that he lost his entire life because of what his son did.

That's not sorry, the demon and his son, purpose on earth, to steal, destroy, and kill. They should never have been born.

In hindsight yes there is so much Jeffrey dahmer's father could have done. Thank God though, because we do have the knowledge of what to look for in our loved ones. We know what type of behavior to question and hopefully intervene.

Jeffrey's father said he wish the victims could forgive Jeffrey for what he did

Forgiveness is God’s to give. Victims cannot take away the consequences your son did to society. Courts can show mercy as it administers justice. But, ultimate forgiveness is God’s to give.

Unfortunately his son Jeffrey either had generational curses or he went into some very dark things. What he did was demonic. While he was brutalizing his victims, he was watching the exorcist and laughing, so there was something that most of us will not know about this. It is insidious to say the least. Forgiveness does not mean allowing this to happen over and over. It means to not let evil overcome, move on, and not allow it within your life any more.

In court, his son was found to be sane. In this case, his son deserve no forgiveness for doing the His son did was pure .... Sorry is not going to cut it. Which is worse, what his son did or 9 11 in New York?
