Obsessivecompulsive - he was trying to arrange his "disintegrated life" of the child. Killing men... Everything here points to:
Abandoned by a MOTHER as a child. He didn't have "anyone" - i.e. HE felt like he didn't belong anywhere. That's why he collects body parts. Eating HEARTS = the epitome of emotion, love, which he did not receive from his mother. Eating shoulder muscles - when a child is injured, frightened... he runs into the arms of his mother, puts his head on her chest, arms, finds peace there and falls asleep.
He just wanted to be loved and accepted, and finally to be dominant over someone. and it all went into utter madness. And as soon as the disease begins to manifest itself, desires are increasing, ALWAYS going upward and progressive. 😔
