it's an insertion genetic... having a larger gap means more potential for higher peaks when flexing which is highly sort after for body builders.. if you had a bigger forearm your gap wouldn't be as noticeable and you get to keep your big peaks.

There's also a muscle called your bracialis that is located lower on the arm than the bicep. It contains a decent amount of muscle belly directly underneath the bicep tendon. So as it grows, it will add some additional thickness to the arm in that area.

Arthur Jones said that supination IS the primary function of the bicep. Forearm flexion IS the primary function of the brachioradialis. Excellent advice! Training biceps with supinating dB curls will fill them out. I love your channel!

the Gap in your biceps is due to tendons and you can't change the length of tendons without surgery so genetics is what determines your biceps length also having short biceps are not all bad alot if not most of the bodybuilding champions true out the age's have short biceps

I usually roll my short sleeves up a little, not because I have short biceps but mostly it makes it tighter, and pops the bicep vein a little more, and just makes it look better in general

Be careful when doing the reverse bicep curl with high weight, you can easily hurt your tendon or even rip it entirely. I'd stick to lover weight for that. You can probably feel your tendon straining too hard and in most cases you can determine if it's too much.
