How To Set Up Wyze Cam V4

In this video we show you how to set up the Wyzy Cam V4 which was launched in 2024.

The Wyze Cam V4 is an update from previous generations in that it has better resolution with 2.5K resolution and can be placed indoors or outdoors. The Wyze Cam V4 has color day and night vision and is a wifi smart camera that allows you to remotely view the Wyze Cam V4 live feed from your phone using the Wyze app.

How To Set Up Wyze Cam V4:
1) Download and install the Wyze app, set up a username and password and login.
2) Click the + symbol at top left of the app and select add a device.
3) Select the Wyze Cam V4 from the menu.
4) Follow the instructions to set up the Wyze Cam V4.

Hi! I have version 3, and I’m looking forward to purchasing the Wyze cam 4, but I have a couple of questions.With Cam, 3, my phone plays a little tune each time a car goes by or someone approaches the door. However, it appears that version 4 has an alarm. Will that alarm play instead of the little tune to notify me that someone is approaching, or is the alarm something that I set off myself, and the little tune will play automatically?
