I initially had problems connecting to a dual band (2.4/5 gHz) wireless router. I called support and the helpful (and patient) tech had me move the camera about 12-15 feet from the router and after doing so, I was able to connect. She said that if you have the camera close to the router, the two bands step on each other. I didn't see this fix posted anywhere, but probably important if you have initial connection problems.

Just got it. It hangs up at the final step “connecting to network”. I confirmed that the router is Simultaneous 2.4 and 5.0 capable.

After the qr code is scanned, the 142 countdown goew down to 0.
Then I get the message of 'Connection timed out.
What is the problem here?

I just installed my second WyzeCam Pan (with updated firmware)...this unit is mounted on the ceiling in the garage, hanging upside down...with image rotated 180 degrees. I have Motion Tracking, Pan Scan (with designated waypoints), and Motion Tagging activated. I have toggled these off and then back on again too. My WyzeCam Pan sees zero motion, even with me standing right in front of it and waving my arms. There is No motion tracking and no motion tagging...it’s as if I’m not even there. I have power cycled, but have not yet done a factory reset. Yes, the film on the lens has been removed. 😉 Anything else I should try? Thanks in advance for your help!

Question... my cam won't stop scanning around. If there's a moving object, person etc.. it will not follow it'll still try to scan it's 360

My setup isn’t making the “ready to connect” sound. Earlier I set up this camera just fine, but I deleted the device. I’m trying to re-add it but it’s not working.

Does it have a voice recorder, or just video?

Only problem I found with these is you cannot stop the rotation. There is no option to use it like a normal camera, with one view. In my situation, the noise will alert burglars. Also, documentation is virtually absent. You will be floundering around pushing icons to see what features are supplied in the camera cause it ain't documented.

I started setup, connected but chose to update firmware. Something stalled and now can't reconnect cam to app? Please help

Well mine was working fine before new firmware update today, (-notification beeps) now it's hardly even working at times, been messing with it for 3 hours trying to get it to work. Android 8.0 moto E5 play, it won't even follow my movements anymore, no clue on that, and don't give me the link to your support, it's all automated answers and none of them work. :(
