I have a silly question. I keep seeing these tips on not talking about sports injuries. However, I was planning on writing about the time when I was at a track meet and tore my ACL, lateral meniscus, and medial meniscus. I was going to mostly write about the aftermath of the injuries and how I got through it. Is it still a good idea to avoid this topic?

I got a mild traumatic brain injury during my freshman year wrestling. Definitely impacted my life in countless different ways, it was an unfortunate event but one that’s totally transformed me as a person. Not sure if I’d go back and change it honestly.
