In this Dark Souls video I show you how to obtain the Very Large Ember located in New Londo Ruins. You must bring this ember to Blacksmith Andre.

that was quite the run. the darkwraiths weren't that bad, was expecting them to be a lot scarier, but was easy enough to backstab them to death. i was nervous i was gonna fudge it up somehow and and go back to start and lose my souls i got doin all that. thanks for the guide though, never would have found the ember without it

so i was just chilling at the bonfire in Undead Parish, messing around with pyromancy spells.

And all of a sudden Andre comes, bare fisted and tries to f**k me.
I had to kill him. I even gave him a large ember, i'm f**cked, so very legitimately F**KED.

0:36 if you’re goated you can just jump from this level and kill the guys at the bottom or run past them. Saved me a lot of time

9 years later and you're still helping new dark souls players, thank you so much dude. I went here because I'm trying to beat the rest of the bosses with the 4 pronged plow and I got stuck on kalameet, I already had to fight manus over 30 times to beat him so my patience was wearing thin. Thank you for the tutorial, though I do wish this game wasn't so confusing.

You can see if a chest is a mimic without hitting it, if the chain is curved, than its safe, if the chain is straight, its a mimic

Transient curses cost way too many souls. I tried to get through this game twice already and I always quit in new Londo. I beat Bloodborne and elden ring multiple times but this area single handedly makes dark souls shit
