It’s great stat wise and all, but the main reason I always use it is because the way they lengthened it reminds me of the Balder Shield from Dark Souls 1.

The Black Knight Sword was one of the best weapons in Dark Souls 3 as well. Extrenely powerful and one of my favorites

With Shield Buffs that shield can reach over 100 stability so no stamina is ever lost when you block.

The first black knight that I encountered dropped the shield, the second dropped the black knight’s greatsword. I was really lucky. Completed the whole game with those from there. Still one of the if not the best builds I ever did.
