Connect a Ring Doorbell in 6 simple steps:
1. Open the SmartThings app
2. Tab "+" and "Device"
3. Find and select "Ring"
4. Select "Doorbells and tab "Next" and "Authorise"
5. Sign in to your Ring account
6. Select "Authorise" and follow on-screen instructions

To connect your Doorbell with your Samsung TV, follow the below steps:
1. Log in to SmartThings on your TV
2. Go to "Settings"
3. Turn on notification for "Ring"
Doorbell notifications will now appear on your TV

I can’t find smarthings app on my Samsung tv

I believe this requires a Samsung TV that has the Smart Things hub built in. I have 3 Samsung TV's and only one of them has it, and it works as shown in this video. I do not think you can add it by downloading an App.

A very useful option. I want it!!!
I have the Ring DoorBell PRO and the Samsung Qled QE55Q7FAMTXXC. I would like to set up the RING call on the TV to instantly see who is at the door, but on my TV model it is not possible to install the SmartThings app. Do you know if there will be a new firmware update coming soon to be compatible, or is it a hardware problem? If the answer is no, is there any alternative option to achieve it?
