Drilling into brick was a little more of a challenge (mortar was easy) but took less then 15 minutes to install it (not counting recharging the battery to the drill). I eventually went to a corded drill (had to go get it) to save time getting deep enough into the brick. Looks and works great.

Question: I just installed my RING 3 wirelessly yesterday morning . How can I get alerts to my iPhone when there is a person detected, instead of just an alert within the RING app? I thought my iPhone would sound some kind of tone/alert when motion or a person was detected?

Yes it’s not hard to hookup im so thankful my son in law drilled my front n back on my door frame but now they have more options without out drilling also
