I'm attempting to sync my new iphone with the doorbell. So I have to remove the device from the wall in 24 degree temperatures to do this? What happened to holding the phone near the device and ring the doorbell?

You forgot to cover the QR code because anyone could scan it if you didn’t cover the QR code.

Why the hell would they put the code in the back of the doorbell. Mine randomly kicked my phone off so now I have to remove the whole thing from the wall just to get some code

Ok I have the same doorbell. I’m having issues connecting to Wi-Fi. Doesn’t allow me to put in Wi-Fi password. Can you help. I’ve tried everything else.

The Customer help workers at RING have an average IQ in the mid double digits. They talk and talk and never listen.
Of course, understanding what they say is a whole other ball of wax.
When anyone asks me, I tell them, "DON'T BUY A RING™ DOORBELL!!
It is a nightmare on slow burn.
Buy a cow bell to put at your front door. You'll have better luck and there isn't much that can go wrong with it!!
