Nothing like someone explaining in 3 minutes what most YouTubers make a 27minute video for. THANK YOU! Very helpful

Thank you! I thought that jumper for the doorbell was a backup battery that went inside the Ring. The included directions are CRAP! And I could watch you video in the time it would take to reach a human on the phone.

What is the purpose of the power kit? Necessary, Works without it? Is that just a wireless dongle to ring the bell?

If you want to flush it in the wall so that nobody can yank it out, is there a video on that? I want to use some sort of box inside the wall and use mortar to hold it in and then install my Nest doorbell. Can anyone link me to a video that can help me to do that?

Replacing a Nest Camera as it quit and Google no longer supports it. Also and sadly one of my low voltage wires broke off inside my stucco wall so I’m going to the battery option and going to buy a backup battery. My question is because it’s on the side wall not front facing outward would you recommend the wedge for mounting to face outward and get a little better view? With the battery pro version I don’t think it include the wedge so probably have to buy it separately. Thanks in advance for your reply!

Thanks for your video. Where does the Pro Power Pack go if you are not using the existing mechanical chime. I need to wire the Ring Pro directly to the transformer . Then I will use the Ring Chime which plugs seperately into the wall. Thank you

What if you already have a ring doorbell installed for the back of your house but you need another one for the front of your house what do you do? With the extra Ring power pack now you’re going to have two in there and you do that

Good video. I followed the same steps but my doorbell has a consistent buzz to it inside ever since wiring it in. I have a 16V10VA. Any tips to correct this?

Mine has the welcome chime and then turns off before I can complete setup. I tried setting up the power booster in every configuration I could think of. Still not enough power I guess. Any other ideas on how to make this work?

Do you need a subscription to use the door bell and get notifications when someone walks in front of your doorbell?

can i put those 2 wires together( trans wire and front wire)? the chime was removed and a power kit is attached to it right now because we were using ring doorbell pro. im installing a 2nd generation ring doorbell which does not need a power kit . so when i remove the power kit should i separate the 2 wires or tie them together? hope you can help me, thanks.
