Jesus Christ is the Messiah, He is the King of Kings and He is God. His role is the Son of the Father, but He and God the Father are one.
Jesus always knew exactly who He was, He never doubted. Compare that with other religious founders and you will be amazed.
The next question you should ask yourself is, "why did Jesus come to earth", and "what makes Jesus so different from other religious founders."

Can we all remember to be kind to each other? I am reading comments where people are name calling and bashing each other for different beliefs. I also am passionate about Jesus but lets remember everyone is searching for answers so if someone has a different view than you, its ok to disagree but be respectful. Jesus didn’t call anyone to be rude and nasty but rather be kind. You can know all the doctrine in the world but if you are disrespectful and rude to your fellow man it means almost nothing. Why did the high priest asked: “Are you The Son of God?” Instead of “Are you God”? Because they all knew Jesus didn’t claim to be God! Then why they wanted to crucify Him? Because When Jesus claimed to be The Son of God, He really mean He is equal with God! They just can’t tolerate it!
