Did Jesus Claim to be God?

Jesus never said the words "I am God." For some non-Christians, this means that he never thought he was God, but just a prophet. The biblical evidence to the contrary is overwhelming.

John 10:30, “The father and I are one”

Look, Abraham was born over 1000 years before Jesus. Jesus said he spoke to Abraham (John). Abraham made a clear distinction in multiple verses of talking to two different Yahuahs (two lords) (genesis). Abraham never said he spoke to another prophet. So did Jesus lie or did Abraham lie? Remember the Bible was compiled over 1000 years and is a collection of books. It is not just simple false revelations that were written down and standardized by people all in 60 years after the original source died and left no written material to go back too.
So easy to be Muslim Bible verse they don’t like is corrupt . Please tell me why Jesus used corrupt scripture. The whole old testamento was standardized 100 years before Jesus and you can still by that version today called the Septuagint.

I was at a friend's house once and we were talking about Jesus. My friend goes to an Alliance church (sometimes) and her husband is a pagan, but their daughter was asking about Jesus. I said that Jesus is God and my friend felt the need to correct me "No, he's the Son of God." It made me realize that so many Christians today are so far in their understanding of the doctrines established at the first ecumenical councils.

Which Prophet raises the dead ? Which Prophet is the Living Water ? Which Prophet gives everlasting life in John 6:30 to 50 ? Which Prophet resurrected ? Which Prophet is able to send the Holy Spirit? Which Prophet has his mum assumed to heaven ?

He is no Prophet but our Lord and our God !

I think the main reason why Jesus never directly said that he is the Son of God (rather using euphemisms like the Son of Man) is this: "And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be humbled; and whosoever shall humble himself shall be exalted." So in other words, Jesus didn't want to make that claim of himself directly, because that could've make people to label him as egomaniac, but rather make people themselves see him as he was. So Jesus basically practiced what he preached

Definitely God. In matthew 28:17When they saw Him, they worshiped Him, but some doubted. 18Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. 'Isaiah 42:8 KJV: I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. It was God in jesus that speak dose words remember jesus said I do notting of my self but it is the father in me that dose it and what I speak unto you was giving to me by the father to speak unto you, the spirit of the lord was in jesus reclaiming the world on to himself, jesus did notting of his own. God used you to give me a kind of relief today brother Casey. Let me share something with you; Today I was in school (In Rome) and during our History of Art class we were analyzing one of Caravaggio’s paintings about the calling of St. Matthew. While doing this, my teacher called out one of my classmates and asked him to observe and analyze the painting ... the guy started by introducing the character of Jesus and defined him as God... immediately after this my teacher interrupted him and said “This is Christ, not God. God and Christ are two different things”... I instantly got bothered about the affirmation and thought about it for a while because I knew God and Christ are actually the same but couldn’t say anything at the moment. Then puff this evening this video pops out ... I’m so grateful for you father Casey and most especially to God. He’s so good and caring ... it may seem like a little thing but it actually got me almost in tears because this kind of stuff always reminds me of how God is actually present and always care about each moment of our days/lives, even for the ones we don’t even count as valuable .
