Hell no!!!! Keyboards are you serious?!?! I can type about 80wpm with a keyboard, but on a smartphone i probably can type 20wpm. I don't see keyboards going anytime soon.

Just try telling a gamer that keyboards will disappear soon.

"who needs a terabyte?!!!?!!?" WHO NEEDS A TERABYTE?? I agree the HDD is going away, but it will be a long time, not to mention that SSDs have a limited life span while HDDs will last as long as you keep them in good condition.  Plus with how big files are now good luck building a decent desktop with less than 1 tb of storage.  Now for keyboards, have you ever tried to play an FPS on a touchscreen? it doesn't work does it? good luck gaming with out a physical keyboard,   YES THERE ARE A TON OF PC GAMERS LIKE ME STILL OUT THERE!!  sorry this vid kinda got me a bit angry because I think people put to much faith in the smart phone and tablet market.  Desktops will always be superior in power, and because of that will never be phased out completely.

Here is my opinion on the list:
(5) Printers: Disagree- Colleges still require you to have a printer. Not to mention, there are laser printers that can print nice looking picture. They're not going away yet.

(4) Computer keyboard : HEAVILY DISAGREE- there is NO way that keyboard are going away anytime soon! Neither will the computer mouse. There are those PC touch pads out there, but they are still not ready enough to replace the mouse anytime soon.

(3) Hard Drive: Somewhat Agree- They still have their place when it comes to computer storage. However, SSDs will eventually get to a point where the life expectancy and price of these things will no longer be a problem. At least outside of Data Centers, that it. Data centers on the other hand will probably use hard drives for a longer time.

(2) Pocket camera: Agree- The low grade camera will definitely go away. DSLRs on the other hand still have their place as champions of picture quality and changeable lens.

(1) Optical Media: Disagree- I personally think they will be around longer than you think. DVD itself will eventually go away, but there will continue to be a desire for tangible media for a long while; especially in the video game industry.

Other stuff mentioned- Mostly agree. However, I will always prefer an alarm clock over the smart phone.

Not yet - the gamers all use keyboards.

Games on touch screens are normally a bit rubbish, games that utilise keyboards on the other hand are much more intuitive. Keyboards are not going away, thank gamers for that

The big irony is all these 'obsolete' techniques are thriving, yet Google Glass mentioned at the end, has disappeared into the ass end of nowhere

I don't see printers going away anytime soon considering how rapidly 3D printing is becoming popular and affordable.

Atleast 4 of these things are going to still be around when my kids are grown.

I will not accept the keyboard and mouse going away, as a gamer you really can't get the same experience from using a tablet for instance, take Minecraft for example if I could and maybe there's a way I just haven't found yet to hook a keyboard and mouse to my tablet for Minecraft pocket edition and I'm sure people would agree with me the one thing I don't like about mcpe is not being able to swing my sword while looking around if multiple mobs are atacking.

I hope DVDS are still alive in 5 years time as my internet speed is like 1.4mbs a second which means it took me 18 hours to download battlefield 4 while a game of a similar size takes 35 minutes using my DVD drive

I won't be telling my kids about ANY of these because...

Ten and half years later and I'm still using almost all of the things on this list.

The keyboard is BS. sure, we don't need them for phones and tablets, but what about laptops and desktops? They aren't going away last time I checked. We aren't going to be using tablet-like things for keyboards either. So really, what basis do they have to say the keyboard is a dying technology? None.

A few years later, we still have keyboards. Printers. Optical discs. Hard disk drives. I dunno about portable cameras though, they've been on their way out for a long while now

Question: How many movie nights have been ruined by putting a Blu-Ray on a table?
Answer: None, Blu-Rays have much higher video/audio quality anyway + producers do wrap their DRM around it!

I agree with all 5 of these as I stopped using them 2 years ago and never looked back. Almost everyone I know uses tablets, they don't have printers, they don't buy movie disks (VOD and Netflix only), they have smart phones to take pics, and they save almost everything online. I live in a big city in Canada so it's easy but it will take longer for those in the country.

CD's will never go away. All of the big music artists always release a digital release and a CD because not everyone has a computer or music device
