CNET Top 5 - Phones to avoid

If you're having trouble choosing a new phone, here are five you can eliminate right off the bat. These are the top five phones to avoid for 2012.

I have the bright side and one time randomly the touch screen stopped working and the camera is crappy

number 1 should be the huawei g7105 because i was mislead by some websites that no longer exist that it was a smartphone/android when I could have a samsung galaxy y for that price

I own a brightside... The power button is the frontmost part and it tends to turn itself on when off, and unlock itsself, then run low on battery and bitch about it. The only way to be sure it won't turn on in your pocket is to remove the battery. It can't multitask. If you answer a phonecall or text while playing music, the music does not resume automatically after. The UI is okay, but I would like something better than that. At least you can play videos on it.

The brightside is actually a decent phone.. It's good for a basic phone... Because that's what they manufactured it as... A BASIC phone

Shocked the Xperia Ion is there, I think it's pretty high end for most Android devices. The display being a highlight.

you forget the A5, it runs way smoother than the 4, I have one, when jailbroken, it doesn't slow down.

i had 5 kins (they sent me 3 bad replacements) and then 3 octanes (they kept on telling me that it was my fault when all i had was my contacts) now I have an lg chocolate touch... lord help me
