I think CNET should bring back Brian Cooley

When you realize that all these tablets stop getting after 1 year and the iPad 3 didn't stop getting updates after early 2016

My vote is for the Toshiba Thrive. The USB port and user replaceable batter is very attractive.

They need to do an updated list of this

Yes... but have you noticed the upload date of this video? it was way before Google I/O 2012. I'm hoping they make a new tablet comparison video when the new nexus tablets come out, and the ipad mini (which btw the event is starting in 2 hours - well, by my time anyways)

I wasn't talking iPad specifically. The Galaxy S2 and the iPhone 4 for example. People still but the iPhone 4 over the SGS II when it is basically better in every way. Tech people might buy it for a specific reason but the general populace would buy it over the SGS II because of the Apple logo on the back

DO more car reviews PLEASE. i'm not saying that these top 5s are not good, but I really really enjoy Car Tech.

Asus Memo looks tempting. Quad-core tablet that fits in your back pocket...win. Where do I pre-order?

i have the tablet S and trust me its not worth the hype (if any). It feels nice to hold yes, but the internet browsing is bad and choppy, the screen has some weird response issue, the iPad is still better in terms of fluidity and consistency imo. The IR remote on the other hand is nice but it takes alot of time to set up

I have asked many people that question and your actually the first one with an answer. If you have reasons for buying Apple products then fine but many people (including my friends) buy Apple products because of the logo.

I wouldn't call the Galaxy Note stupid, for some people it might seem so but for many it is an amazing phone that has a very large screen.

And they're all Android, I'm not surprised, but there are some amazing RT tablets out there that have the same stablility (and many with the same quality of build) as the iPad, not to mention that they come with Office, which makes them great for stundents.

Asus Eee pad FTW hands down, paired with the keyboard dock it turns into an Ultrabook not a netbook, cause that's what the Memo will do even so it's way more powerful than any netbook.

I thought it was only the Transformer Prime. Didn't know about the tf700t... That sucks for a lot of people who bought it.

Other tablets may be good than iPad but an iPad is a perfect marvel in every aspect of size, processing speed, display and the best thing is its great App Store which Android will take decades to compete

Wait for the new iPhone if it has a larger screen definitely go for that.. if not s3 for specs.. note for screen size :)
