I was skeptical about using this new windows 10 but he helped me understand the new and improved difference. Now I look forward to upgrading. Looks modern but simple and easy to use.

Windows has this pattern of making a hit then a dud and repeat.

You can already do #2 Task view with Alt+Tab or Windows+Tab.
The only differences are that you now have a clickable icon on the taskbar and that Windows will make suggestions.

#4 Snap assist can also be done by snapping one window to the left and one to the right, but not more than two and you obviously don't get any suggestions.

k also a nice feature Window would have is to change folders easily, such as using FolderChanger. Google it

So they just renamed a thing that we used to call Alt+Tab in switch something and made windows snap as windows think they should. And since when did we start using the term Apps for full OS programs?

I'm actually really excited for win 10.  The fact that microsoft has put out a preview for everyone to get feedback from, this should be a kickass OS.

Its amusing how most of the reasons to get excited for windows 10 are the fact that they took some features from OS X and are retreating back to windows 7.

I am using OSX Yosemite. I think for me, it`s the best operating system in the world. I play games on PS4. That`s my opinion.

Start menu is not needed. Windows + Q key. Quicker than start menu. Also task view has all ways been there in windows ALT+TAB.

i just wish they would bring vista back. i want flip 3d, moving backgrounds, and my sleek aero glass interface back. not to mention the solid performance and stability. i know it took them 6 months after release to get there, but vista doesnt deserve the bad rap on its performance. i've never had better performance on any of the versions since then. yeah it used more resources but if you had the system requirements, it ran far better than 7 or 8 ever has. i also liked the color scheme better. i hate all these bright pastel colors and square edges.

Yeah, when I saw the Windows 8 features when I built my previous computer, I gladly kept my 7 installation disc. I gladly bought a laptop just a month before the Windows 8 release, and I don't regret my hasty decision.

it sounds like they just fixed all the crap that drove me freaking bonkers about my current windows 8 setup.  I can't say in words how annoying that lack of a start menu was or the "swipe controls" especially on a laptop that did not have an actual touch screen.  I assure you, you would be amazed how many times I got dragged back to the "app screen" when I was just trying to move over to the pause button on YouTube.

Wow does this mean I can FINALLY upgrade my 2008 HP laptop with windows7 to new one with windows10 next year!  I have been putting off getting a new laptop for 5 years now, lol!  Have to say my HP has been flawless for the past 6 years.
