Cute! Tip: let the blow out do your straightening. That's where you want to focus. The flat iron will help with styling and "setting" the straightness. Good job! Nice and full ☺️

You might want to do smaller sections that way you don't have to do multiple passes

Just invest in a good straightener and blow dryer…smaller sections and apply the oil/heat protector before you straighten. Apply a small amount on your hands rub it all into your hair then start with the heat. You’ll get much better results and less damage

From one 4C to another, you did a great job! 👏🏾 Flat ironing smaller sections is the key to straightening 4C hair.

Your hair is healthy and I love the cut but I gotta be honest..maybe using a thermal heat protectant before u blow dry while the hair is damp so it will evenly distributed thru the hair…a dime size amount is all u need instead of putting it on your hair section by section will weigh the hair down 💙💙

A good idea is to use a comb infront of the straightener! It will help with doing less passes in ur hair as well!!

The chase method would really help and smaller sections also a good blow dry beforehand, you won’t have to to do a lot of passes ❤ the cut looks good

This is how you get flowy hair that doesn’t frizz … after you wash put in your products while the hair is wet….

you spray on your products in the following order:
leave in spray
heat protectant
serum…..

then you blow dry it while the product is on your hair and wet. Also blow dry until the hair is really straight and not just dry. A good tension brush/comb is best. I use a double comb attachment on my Conair.

Then you straighten it in smaller sections. You don’t need to add product right before straightening. Usually makes it look greasy.

Then you can spray a bit of shine if you prefer. This also makes sure my hair doesn’t frizz after straightening. Always works!!!

It's gorgeous!!!❤ It saves you a fortune too. If you wanted to wear it like this for an extended period of time there's a lot of deep conditioners and really good hair serums that can help change the texture of your hair temporarily making it easier to wear this style for long periods and protect it from heat damage. They work really well if you're planning to wear it for a while.

Just a tip, that oil you put on your hair right before flat ironing can fry your hair. Just looking out for ya.❤

Ooh I love this. I am debating straightening my hair. I have the tools but this encourages me to do it. Single strand knots are killing me!

Love the cut! A few tips to make it look more silk/less poofy and stiff and give it more gloss:
Smaller flat iron (1/2 inch to 1 inch thick) to get closer to those roots
Double cleanse the hair/clarify and use only a small amount of silicone based serum
Take smaller sections
Avoid weighing down the hair with oils/creams that will make it look stiff

Please don't use all that oil...it will make the hair really heavy. All u need is a small amount and blow dry your hair first it will be easier to straighten.
