I also did my own silk wrap on myself on 4c hair and i learned that the front parts of my hair is finer then the back half so I have to use lower heat on the front because it's so easily able to get heat damage. Just sharing my experience just in case anyone else have this same issue. Luckily it still reverted back but I could definately tell it felt different for a while afterwards until I did a deep condition.

⚠REMBER⚠ Always wash and deep condition your hair to lock in moisture and use a good value heat protectant when doing a silk press! I love it Brittany!♥

Next time use the comb and slide it down with the flat iron. Itll get each strand better and make it far more silky. Also do on clean hair with minimal product just a good heat protectant.

Dark and Lovely has a really awesome line out called D and L Blow Out. I use the blow out cream when I straighten my hair and Idk if it's the silk proteins in the cream or what but I have very thin brittle hair and it literally transforms my hair. I won't use anything else now. And it leaves my hair bone straight for DAYS! I haven't tried anything else in that line yet but I can't wait to try them all. 😁

You are such a beautiful young lady. I've noticed from a few of your hair videos you start with a scripture from the bible. That's lovely. Can I ask why then do you use secular songs in your videos. I know as a young person myself it's hard to let go of most of these worldly songs. If it is tht you are baptised and filled, a practicing believer then I say this with love, we cannot serve two masters. We most choose one. And right now you have a platform to reach many young ppl struggling to live that life. Show them it's possible and show them not to be ashamed of the gospel. 🙏🏿❤
