Wrong advice (quantity over quality). Some people are still less than 5, 000 subs despite being consistent for five years. Others that focused on quality with slower rhythm managed to overcome that number by miles. Focusing on quality resonates and builds a brand, while focusing on quantity promotes inefficiency

She's not entirely wrong guys. Spending way too much time over quality is only gonna slow you down. While quality is an important factor but so is quantity. I've learned this a hard way.

Executing at a high level in quantity equals burnout. I’m almost certain these gurus create videos titled “ways to avoid burnout” 1. Don’t focus on quantity. Well that’s the issue, before- youtube was a place where people would go and search for useful things, creative things, something to learn, listen to etc, and now because of quantity over quality and people becoming “influencers” woth no particular skills, just sharing absolute nonsense on youtube- they’re much faster of course because in order to do something ridiculous or stupid you don’t need that much time to film it and post it, unfortunately we, who actually try to share some valuable things that take SOOOO much time to work on, we don’t succeed cause the algorithm now pushes just those “fast” ridiculous, useless stuff. Very unfortunate.

The only thing I disagree with is the choice between Quality and Quantity. I say go for Quality. If you’ve been on YouTube, there are TONS of videos that have little to no quality. Make the video that wants people to have a connection with you

I feel like this is part of that 'quality vs quantity ' argument and this advice could be interpreted as be sloppy and make a ton of videos. While I've learned yes the more videos you upload will help you, it's not helpful not if it's sloppy, not if you don't seen interested etc. obviously when you're just starting out, don't go crazy with the equipment but there's ways to not be sloppy. I think minimal editing works for some. No extra effects n dtuff. Yeah YT is like every other job before ecen reaching that point. You might be able to do better with your time. Like i dahyd editing. Possibly setting a day to film for the eeek etc.

I disagree, quality over quantity always. I'd rather take my time and make/post content that will hold up over time. I post when/what's worth sharing, not just to maintain activity. And if you're a content creator focused on quantity over quality, I'm not watching your content anyway.
