Asking questions DURING the interview is the best. Don't wait till just the end. Turning the interview into a conversation makes you stand out

Hands up for those who come here just the day before the actual interview like me? 😂

At an interview many years ago, my question was: "when do I start". It got a smile out of them at least. I did get the job in the end too.

That is an excellent question. I always did the "polite" (mostly due to social anxiety) but at my most recent interview I asked questions like, "what is the best thing someone can do in the first month here to be successful in this the position" It was my best interview ever and I got the job.

Or they think “You’re right. We can’t. Thank you for coming in”

When I get asked if I have any questions I always reply with "Where do babies come from?". It's a bold move that asserts dominance over the interviewers. They usually give a standing ovation at the end. It really works. I highly recommend it to anyone trying to get on that sigma grindset.

On my last interview I said “when do I start?” We all had a good laugh, I got the job. Three years strong.

I always treat the interviewer as if I'm interviewing them as well, it's not about me getting a job it's about me getting a job I actually want to stay in for a company I actually want to work for

A job interview is an opportunity for *the company **_and_** the employer* to interview each other. People seem to forget this. You're there to interview them and ensure the job is a good fit for you too. You should ALWAYS ask questions, be confident in yourself and know you don't have to take the job if you don't want to. You have options. You're a valuable addition and any business/ company would be lucky to have you.

The last time I was asked this my question was "how do you like working here" I led to a small fun conversation and then my interview ended. I got hired a few days later.

i’ve gotten almost every job i’ve applied for in my industry (trucking) by showing up 10 minutes early, dressing in uniform, and bringing a notebook with questions already written down. ask them questions, write down what they say. it shows you’re attentive to the interview and are being selective in your job choice, making sure you have all the information.

I asked a similar question in an interview. "What was it about my resume that set me apart and made you think I would be a good fit for your team?" They didn't interview all applicants. They were hand chosen by the Nurse Manager and her assistant. They both explained to me all the qualities that they were looking for that my experience gave me. The interview ended with them selling me to themselves. I got a job offer the next day. For those of you working in healthcare, you know that's rare! Good questions can make all the difference!
