3- i am emotionally dead inside. i only feel fear, shame and that becomes anger
4- i am addicted to manipulating others and get a high from your pain
5- i have superstitious beliefs that i feel will help me control other people

one underlying emotion all covert/overt narcissists have is ENVY. they can't stand anyone who's better than them in any way. they hate even more when people are able to do better without the narcissist.

I have just realised that I've never seen the narcissist laugh out loud. I mean the uncontrollable laughter that sometimes happens when you laugh with a friend or child where you can not control yourself and you are laughing from your heart. They just look at you in confusion.

Thank you Danish. I've experienced every single thing you have talked about here. One thing that kept recurring is he hated it when I was in a bad mood about something that happened to me because he said it "made him feel upset". Not for me of course, but for himself. He wanted me to be happy all the time, so it made him feel good about himself. When my mother died suddenly, he was awful and he couldn't stand it when I kept crying about my missing my mother. Clearly it took the attention away from him and he didn't like that. I'll never forget how self centred and unsupportive he was. 😢
