Yep. When Narcissists hear the word "No", they immediately begin looking for ways up, over, under, and around the boundaries because they truly believe they're special and that rules don't apply to them. And yes, they will try to wear you down, with phone calls, messages, gifts, trinkets, positive and negative social media comments, friending, unfriending, and whatever tools of retaliation they have at their disposal.

"No!?!" Ding, ding, ding! Let the games begin! I love when "experts" say to set firm boundaries. This is impossible. The only thing to do is to show up missing! Go, no contact, and disappear! If you stay, you are playing "wack a mole" with these b*stards....

“No” the strongest word in the English language. It’s a sentence, statement and declaration. With two simple letters. NO ( Exclamation point Optional)😊

GFY 🤣 I love ❤️. Saying that to the NARC.

Maybe that’s why they are erratic. Big things might not bother them but a small “no” does.

They also hate the word narcissist. “No thank you narcissist.”

My daughters would freak out to "NO" !! One started this at 13 ... "NO" triggered her into what I call: "drilling at kneecaps"... until I was once physically on the floor crying and saying "DO WHAT YOU WANT."

Yup, and it usually is when coercion begins.

Hahahaha. YES! A relationship went from enjoyable until I said no after the hundredth request for money to buy smokes (but they’re super successful….?). I finally said no, the weirdness began. No is very powerful, and exposing!!

Oh YES, "NO" means you can end up feeling like you're being eaten alive by 'carpenter ants' from the inside out! And oh yes ... they see it as a challenge/competition and they are 'in it to win'!!

I remember I was talking to a girl up in Canada (I'm in Colorado) I asked her for a pic that I could add to her contact in my phone. She told me no, I did ask her multiple times (not getting angry, just curious as to why, it's just a pic). She ended the conversations and stated I was a narcissist for not respecting her boundaries. Okay. I didn't argue, I just said ok. Needless to say I no longer ask for pictures of people I'm remotely talking to. Not even joking.
