Ultimately, narcissists hate anything that threatens their fragile self-image and sense of grandiosity. Whether it's not being admired, not getting praise and recognition, or feeling inferior to others, these individuals will go to great lengths to protect their ego at all costs. Being alone can also be a terrifying prospect for narcissists, as they rely on others to validate their worth and feed their insatiable need for attention.

This is my husband’s sister-in-law. I saw her insecurities the first time I met the family. She was—and still is—the only person who won’t talk to me. She spent years competing with me, and she and the brother would complain and gossip with my mother-in-law (that’s how I know.) I finally cut ties with the family and now live for my kids and myself only.

Before I kicked him out he was trying to convince me that he was gonna leave ( lie) and go live alone (lie) cuz that would make him happy (lie). I said... no you won't! You don't know how to be alone. That's too scary for you! 😂😂😂
He had roommates and had up to 15 plus new addresses and then finally talked a female into him. ( With same extra sexual supplies in closet).
He even lies to himself. 😅
