Perhaps the greatest example of how theistic determinism indicts God's character is the unfathomable debate opening by Theodore Zachariades. As we've said many times, some ideas don't need to be refuted, they must only be presented clearly.

This is what calvinism can do to a person believing it.

Truly terrifying! I couldn’t imagine my wife and children sitting under this guy’s “teaching”. Honestly it felt like some sort of evil theater performance. Ever since I left calvinism all I’ve seen is the sheer beauty of Jesus and the joy of my salvation! I’m so grateful that God is truly sovereign and rescued me from this stuff!

In conclusion, Calvinism drives men crazy. Contradicting doctrines, a holy, loving, just God discrees men to do all the evil things that He explicitly forbids them to do.

"Let no man say when he is tempted, 'I am being tempted by God.' Let him say instead 'My sin has been decreed by God.' "
James something something, according to somebody somewhere.

Sorry, not trying to be flippant, but this sort of attack on God's character from within the church is heartbreaking.

Wow. What a rational, emotionally stable person. A perfect spokesperson for Reformed Theology.

Ezekiel 33:11 Say to them, As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live.

"A future free action is un-knowable", this gentleman has a kindergartner's concept of time. God exists outside of time. There is no future or past with God as we experience it.

John Mcarthur, in a sermon entitled "why I love the church" said the reason we pray they kingdom come is that only the church can do Gods will. Yet they believe God ordains everything, so his will has never not been done! These people have serious issues.

That'll go well in a marriage counselling session.

It seems to me Calvinism makes some men arrogant. If that is so, i wont blame God for it.

Well, there you have it. If you "yell" something loud enough it must be true!

Theodore Zachariades is over-the-top and seems to be quite proud of himself. I guess if a person expresses themselves the way he does, then whatever he says must be right. Wow.

How can people not see this as a free pass to do what you want and blame the Lord for it. I cannot for the life of me see how you can deny this.

"Without me you can do nothing."

True. But I'm never without Him.

5:50 "I did not let you touch her" Hmm...saying God keeps someone from actualizing the sin they wanted to commit seems a far cry from proving God makes a person commit sin and proving that a person doesn't have free will.

This is the perfect example of building a strawman to tear down. Nobody thinks, at least Nobody that is reasonable, thinks that man 👨 can thrawt God's will. What we are saying is that God will enact His will in spite of our free will. Whether we go along with Him or not, His will will be enacted. If anything, it makes God even more powerful that He can work through beings with their own free will

These are the only people who feel better about themselves by talking about how bad "we" are.
