I appreciate you Leighton. I didn't know what I was...I just knew I wasn't a calvinist in my theological viewpoint. When i came across your page it was eye-opening. I found out I aligned with you in almost every area. I then ordered your book, The Potters Promise and knew I was in the right camp. Thank you!

Throwing a request out there hoping Dr Flowers would consider a video on Jeremiah 1:5 giving alternate view concerning the deterministic interpretation of this scripture along with Psalm 139 .( Not that Jeremiah wasn't elected according to God's purpose positionally as prophet)I thought Dr Flowers mentioned this before and that these scriptures were not communicating God's individualistic sovereign determined plan for each human but more of a realization of God's purpose in creating mankind emphasizing more likely the gestation in the womb and to fill the earth created in God's image fearfully wonderfully made . Please forgive me if this was covered in another video 🙏

Remember when someone calls you a "one string banjo".... a banjo with one string can actually play a wide variety of notes and full songs. I don't think that insult ever really worked. That is kinda the point of the fingerboard is to allow each string be able to play a large range of notes and you could play full monophonic songs with a one string banjo as long as that string is long enough and with a long enough fret board to play the full range of the notes. The extra strings just add range to the instrument along with the ability to not have to reach all the way down a long string to play certain notes.

Maybe a one string harp would really make more sense as to what they generally mean by a "one string banjo" insult. Although there are techniques to do so that at least makes a bit more sense [and I am assuming one without a pedal too].

Dr flowers, your bass is boosted so much that I am having trouble understanding your speech because the other essential elements are so quiet. Even a one string banjo has to be EQed. ;)

Hello, Brother Leighton,

Would you kindly consider guiding us through the Romans Road approach to salvation? Your articulation is greatly appreciated, and it aligns well with your ministry. We would be grateful if you could explore this topic. Thank you for your ministry.

God bless you and your family.

Feels like ChatGPT has been trained on a lot of Calvinism, so it has labeled you an Arminian.

Because the point made around 13:00 I wish you had also tried the reverse: how does ChatGPT understand Calvinism? I feel like it might have a better understanding since so many online resources are Calvinistic.

I research AI in my free time (currently developing a chess bot 🤖), but here’s some basics.

Two brain like structures are trained, a verification model (a scoring model), and then a generative model.

These models consist of lots of weights and offsets and mathematical functions that adjust an input to create an output. During the training process these weights are back propagated to get the input to more accurately reflect the output. For chatGPT there are billions of these weights.

So the verification model is trained alongside the generative model, and it slowly gets better at creating patterns in text.

Now a couple of things to note about why it often said foreknowledge. 1. Temperature. 2. Short term memory.

The temperature is a “random value” chatbots are non deterministic, so a random seed is generated with it to create a more “free will” looking output, this, without this, the same question always gives the exact same answer word for word. So, because this randomness, it states “foreknowledge”, contrary to popular belief in the comment section, it is not biased towards reformed theology, you can prompt it in a certain way to instill biases into the model (this overrides its features that are supposed to rid bias)

And then the short term. It said foreknowledge once, so it will say it again, if you tell it “foreknowledge is wrong” it will adjust itself and say your correct. These models are very guidable, which is good and bad.

Hope that helps!

Hey Leighton, “the young don” recently put out a video going over TULIP that I think you should address. Mainly because he has a large following of younger and newer Christian’s. I also saw Chris lasala commenting on it praising him so big red flag there lol.

Chat gtp puts out text based on probability of what is out on the Internet. Modified by restraints and modifications of the code. It's a reflection of mass opinion with modifications that the programmers put in. That's the best I can do without being technical about it

Dr. Flowers - if the data which is being fed to the GPT system is primarily coming from reformed sources - then the GPT answer summary - of the specific question - is going to be biased towards the reformed perspective. And that - for example - might explain the statement that your position puts a high emphasis on free-will in the process of salvation.
.
Given how intensely driven Calvinists are (much more than any other theology) to control information on the internet - it would make perfect sense that they would want to be a significant provider of data fed to the chat GPT system. In that way they could ensure it would produce answers which are more complimentary towards their position.

Calvinists practice what is called *Milieu control*

The control of information and the control of the narrative - to ensure all of the dark implications of their doctrine are maximally obfuscated - and a desirable picture is always painted of their doctrine.

C-minus? (As in around 70-72%) Nah, I’d give it a B (85%).
At a couple of points it has applied Arminian convictions to you. But it got the main features accurate.
This does raise questions, however, about where AI is drawing its info from. If they went to your site alone or predominantly we would expect 98-100% accuracy. So, maybe they are finding info from your critics or others who evaluate you.

Romans 9:1–3 Paul is talking about the nation of Israel, all the way to the end of chapter 11 ! So, “Jacob, I loved, Esau I hated“ is genesis 25:23 “there are two nations in your womb“! It’s talking about ‘Nations, ’ not individuals in the whole context of those three chapters! Stop taking it out of context, along with Ephesians 1!
Of course, we have the story of Jacob and Esau and how Esau despised his birthright !
So God truly does love all people, he truly did make hell for the devil and his angels just as Matthew 25:41 says !

Even the 42 youths, mauled by the 2 bears, was because they mocked Elijah‘s rapture, a.k.a. the resurrection, they were saying “go on up Baldy “ ; and ALL their prophets just recently Were killed by Elijah and they should’ve known to stop worshiping Baal! Bethel was the headquarters of Baal worship, where this took place! 490 priests got killed by Elijah, There was no Priests around, ; should’ve been a gigantic clue.

So God never arbitrarily and haphazardly deals with any human being ! His love cannot be measured says Romans 8!

But if you’re a Calvinist, it’s “his love cannot be measured, (Wink, wink)“!

Come out of the false belief system of Calvinism ! Now you have no excuse because you cannot out argue this, let’s hear you try!

Read Matthew 25 the parable of the Calvinists, a.k.a. talents ! Where the guy buried his talent calling God, - somebody who doesn’t judge rightly & he was thrown into hell as a result! He had the wrong view of God, & So Will a Calvinist, they’ll have a callous view of God & The love of Christs sacrificial death on the cross!
