I see questions like this in the comments of every video.

The truth is, we push back against Calvinism because it detract from the truth of God's character.

I was at a loss a few years ago. I'd been raised Roman Catholic, but I hadn't agreed with so much of what they believe in a long, long time. Reading The Bible made me really want to get away from it. Unfortunately, while looking for an arm of Protestantism, everything I found was from Calvinists, and I just loved listening to RC Sproul and John MacArthur (still do). I was so confused, because I didn't like God if he was as the Calvinists portrayed him. I loved the God I was raised loving, and I was lost until I found Leighton. Just listening to him one time gave me such relief. I listen to Leighton every chance I get, and I've read The Potter's Promise. Thank you so much, Leighton, for clearing my confusion. I have been fighting against Calvinism for 50+ years because of its distortion of the kind goodness of God's character and the works-based eternal reward system. I am not an Arminianist or Provisionist. Thank you for the work you are doing.

Calvinism almost ruined my faith before I even knew that what I was listening to was deceptive Calvinism. The question that I couldn’t get around was, if God chooses people to save and others for evil, then what if I’ve been chosen for evil and to burn in hell. I’m so thankful that sound teaching and the leading of the Holy Spirit took me out of that dark place and into the truth of the heart of the Father.

Every time calvinists state that God orders .... for example: The sex slavery of a child, or the carving up in pieces of a live victim by the brutal cartels, ... they say that God planned it, determined it, and made the criminals do it, "for his glory"; and they always add that "this is the christian worldview". I thank God that you're there to say:
- "No, it's not. That's not the christian worldview."

Calvinists are sent by God, to command the majority of mankind to do the very thing they themselves could not do without God's 'gift of faith', that being to "Repent & believe the gospel".

Without God's "gift of faith", ALL Calvinists stand condemend.

In other words, the majority of mankind are condemned NOT for unbelief, but for not having God's "gift of faith" assigned to them.

Nevertheless, these non-elect sinners are commanded by God to repent to a God that rejected them before they were born & to believe in a gospel that was never intended for their salvation.

I won't be watching because of the grievous nature of theis false teaching that teaches a twisted nature of God himself.
I got burnt out dealing with these people and don't have the grace to continue discussing the issue.

As a Confessional Lutheran I’ve been fighting Calvinism for a long time.

A local university Christian group is Calvinistic. Their main activity is sitting in circles on the lawn reading their bibles. The only 'outreach' is quoting scripture to people, or inviting them to 'evangelistic meetings'. No apologetics content, no conversations with the many 'ideological' student groups around the campus. No getting to know those who have other views, it would seem.

One of Spurgeons quotes alway amused me and confirmed his inconsistencies, "Lord, bring home thine elect, then elect some more" 😂😳

The Holy Spirit will not teach someone Calvinism (Tulip). Calvinism is learned from man. Once a person starts learning/learns Calvinism a very bewitching, persuasive, and persistent spirit will come up on them. I fought it and eventually rebuked it in the name of Jesus and it left me for a season. The simple fact that it left after being rebuked tells me it is not of God. A kingdom divided against itself cannot stand. It remains persistent, but after being rebuked in the name of Jesus, the spirit of Calvinism loses its deceptiveness and persuasiveness.

But Calvinists don't believe anyone can reject Christ. So that type of argument doesn't faze them at all. It's such a twisted, and when you really dig into it, an evil interpretation. Thanks for all you do Dr. Flowers.

There's no reason to preach Christ under Calvinism and predestination. Calvin wasn't an evangelist striving for people's salvation.

Hear ye, hear ye O people ! if u've been chosen&elected u will believe in Jesus as Lord & Saviour and surely God has loved u before the beginning of the world , HOWEVER if u've not been chosen&elected u will not be able to believe no matter how hard u try even if u seemingly have it but in the end it will be only plain FALSE faith and i tell u this if u are not elected GOD HAS HATED U WIITH ALL OF HIS HEART SINCE THE FIRST DAY U WERE CREATED.
