Mine just keeps flashing blue and my phone won't pair with it, tried a few times, it comes up in available devices but wont pair.

I’ve installed it, white light is showing but there’s no live option in the usage section of the app!!

I am able to read the daily usage for every 30mins on the app, why would I need this ?
Yes, not for current day, but I can read it for yesterday on the app. So what difference would the Mini make? I mean, you can just wait 24 hours and check .

Mine works perfectly, no problems, dead chuffed .

So does the mini have to be within bluetooth range of my phone to function? If not, why does BT have to remain on? If has to be in range that's daft as will always be connected to my wifi via the nearest mesh point.

Mine just flashes pink, I left it for an hour but didn't change, went through the reset procedure but it returned to flashing pink. I can't find anything that tells me what flashing pink actually means, is it a fault condition?

Very excited to get mine but the mini automatically selects my 5 Ghz WiFi network and then tells me it can't use 5GHz networks which seems a bit perverse... I can't see how to enter/select the 2.4GHz local network that is also available so I it doesn't seem easily usable in my dual WiF home...
Update - I managed to disable the 5GHz frequency briefly so the mini had no option but to auto-select WiFi it could use. From there is was smooth and simple. Sad it can't graph export history. I export most of the day so my graphs are a somewhat dull "blank page". Still, a pretty darn good item especially as this sort of beta product that is hardly likely to have much of a development budget. Small glitch but otherwise Kudos Octopus.

Do I have to be on the same network as the home mini? I have a VLAN for all my iot gear but my phone talks to our main network. So my question is is the data going to octopus cloud then downloaded by the app or is it directly connecting to device from phone

mine just won't connect to the wifi, yes it is 2.4Ghz. looking at the comments it looks like I'm not the only one with issues. not done a lot of testing Octopus?

I can't get it to work. I had it stuck on a green LED for ages. That was getting nowhere. So I reset it. Now it is stuck on a flashing blue LED, even though it is connected to WiFi.

Anyone know how to factory reset? Go as far as connecting to WiFi but never connected to meter. Tried holding button till led goes blue but that didn't work

Didn't even get as far as downloading the App. It says my device isn't compatible with this version. I hope Octopus have a way round this or I'm stuck.

Does this work for both electric and gas smart meters or just for electric.

My phone doesn't recognise the thing printed in the leaflet as being a QR code at all so it's impossible to progress further. It would be helpful if you gave an alternative way of doing it - like a button in the app, or the text of the link.

On my iOS device I am not prompted to allow Bluetooth or Location. I have reinstalled the app. The app doesn’t appear under Location. Any idea how to fix this?
