I have been sent two as the first one didn’t even come alive (no led) and the second one has an led but just will not connect, I can see it on my home network and led constantly tries to connect, I have tried absolutely everything, turned off the 5ghz network, moved the router and mini right next to the meter and it never connects, looking on the various websites it’s a common issue, so it’s gone back in the box as a second faulty unit and I will make do without it. Would be nice to get live data but I just wait for 24 hours to get it from octopus which all my PowerBi reports run off

They sent me one a few months ago, I sent it back as I didn't see the point of it other than e-waste. The communication from your meter to the mini/IHD is zigbee and happens every 10 seconds (and sends current usage, current export, cumulative export (day/week/month), cumulative import (day/week/month), mpan ref, supplier details and tarrif data each time), I just intercept that, publish it to my MQTT broker for dashboards/alerts and save it to a SQL database for reporting... So I can use the data however I want. it's all local and doesn't matter which supplier I use 🤷‍♂
