The contact lenses can hurt your eye one, if the contact lenses are unclean, two, if you have slept with your contact lenses on your eyes which you are not supposed to do and three, they can hurt you when you are prone for allergies and there is a contact lens intolerance. It can also hurt you if you have dryness in the eye or infections in the eye. So you need to take care of this one by one. You need to keep your contact lenses very neat and clean and clean them well with the contact lens solution so that the dust particles and other contaminants in the contact lens should be washed up. You shouldn’t be sleeping with the contact lens on to your eye as that will hamper the oxygen entry to the cornea and this and this can cause certain surface changes on the eye which can cause pain. Third, you need to be careful about the dry eye which certain people have which can cause pain to the eye because as such the contacts itself will be absorbing some amount of tears from your eye and in presence of dry eye this gets exaggerated. when ever i wear mine contact it cause too much pain but 5 min the pain goes.. but after 1 or half hour the pain starts again i dnt knw why.. then i have to immediatly remove my lenses.. what should i do?

one of my contacts hurt (the left one) while the other one doesnt its really bugging me because i take really good care of my contacts and idek why one of them hurts while the other one doesnt and I can only wear one, it makes my nose run my eyes water, and i had them for a year now .

it was okay at first, didnt hurt, it just felt like there’s something in my eyes but they didnt hurt. after a few hours of wearing it, i tried to remove them and put some eyedrops beforehand, but after that, it hurt so bad and turned red... i guess it was bc the eyedrop touched my eyelashes bfore it entered my eyes and caught some dirt...

I love contacts, but I get dry eyes. I use drops for the dryness. Back then, friends use to say I had tired eyes and baggy eyes.

Putting my contact in my left eye is SO HARD. And when I get it in I expected that it didn’t work. it didn’t when I put it in the first time, under the watch of my eye doctor of course. Why does it burn so much now?

Alright guys heres a tip for colored contact first time users...if the contacts irritate your eyes and youve looked up and are putting them in the correct way..dont. Flip them inside out it is actually more comfortable.
