OH MY GOD OKAY SO I am nearsighted but I was only diagnosed a week ago and got my contacts 3 days ago and I've been doing great so far wearing them and such but I DIDNT KNOW THEY DRY OUT?? And during class my eyes got so dry the left one literally FELL OUT and I was just sitting there like "Uhhhh" and ended up managing to put it back in but damn that whole process hurt a lot and I couldn't see anything out of my left eye cus everything got doubled and blurry

U know what’s worse? Not wearing your contacts or glasses and then walking past someone you know without saying hi. And they think ur being arrogant.
Also when you can’t see someone, it’s blurry and you have to squint your eyes to make your vision better. And people think your giving them an evil look.

We as humans need to stop misunderstanding other humans. sometimes people don’t have bad intentions at all

My contact went dry randomly in lunch and a lot of my guy and girl friends were with me so while I was glaring at anything to get it my eyes to cry so they wouldn’t be dry anymore one my guy friends thought I was gonna come after him so he came up to me and begged me not to take his life. 🤦🏽‍♀️ he was the only one who didn’t know I had contacts and did this all the time-

Somewhat relatable. I don't wear contacts, but I have compulsive tics. Where my brain occasionaly (every 30s-1:00 on average) has this strong desire to sharply roll my eyes. Doesn't matter where I am because the compulsion is that strong. In public I usually pretend like I'm rubbing my eyes, that way I don't look like some crack-addict.
